Hussam Ghazal has been the country manager for Ivoclar Vivadent, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of integrated solutions for high-quality dental applications, in Riyadh since 2021.
In this role, he manages marketing, educational and training activities, legal and accounting requirements, and strategic goals for Saudi Arabia.
Before his current position, Ghazal worked as a key account manager at Siemens Healthcare Ltd. from 2013 to 2016, overseeing account management for specialized hospitals and playing a pivotal role in generating new sales.
He then took on the role of regional sales manager for the central and north region at the company from 2016 to 2021, managing sales teams, forecasting goals, and contributing to the company’s growth.
Ghazal has held key positions in the healthcare and consulting sectors. From 2004 to 2013, he served as a key account manager at Ghazal Consulting Engineers, where he developed and sustained solid relationships with clients, addressing complaints, supervising account teams, and collaborating with various departments for client satisfaction.
From 1995 to 1996, he worked as a radiological technologist at the National Guard Hospital in Riyadh, performing conventional X-ray exams and participating in international conferences on MRI and mammography.
Ghazal has a diverse background in the fields of medical imaging, healthcare, and sales management. His earned a bachelor’s degree in radiological sciences from the college of applied medical science at King Saud University in Riyadh, in 1994.
Following his graduation, he completed a one-year internship program in radiological imaging technology at King Abdulaziz University Hospital in Riyadh.
From 1996 to 1997, Hussam continued his education with the Saudi career development program requirement in the field of medical imaging at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh.
Ghazal pursued additional training, including the Huthwaite International sales executive training in SPIN Selling in Erlangen, Germany, in 2014. He also participated in Miller Heiman sales training in strategic selling in Riyadh, in 2015, and Scotwork negotiation skills training in 2016.
He underwent people and business management training at Siemens in Horsley, UK, in 2017, and leadership excellence training from Germany in 2022.
